The wrap-around porch, secluded but open, is also a comfortable venue for a delectable morning repast, including fresh organic eggs in rainbow colors produced by Morgan Hill Hens. After breakfast you are welcome to read a book under an ancient cedar, write a poem in the gazebo, walk the labyrinth, wander Jones Christmas Tree Farm, revisit watercolors in the garden, or curl up, gaze at the mountains and contemplate life.

Learn to prepare yummy lavender Crème Brule, it’s easier than you think!

Take an Electric Boat cruise (www.northwestboatrentals.com)

Create stepping stones or yard art from a special lightweight cement recipe called Hydratufa. You can use the local gunnera or rhubarb leaves or try your hand at something free-form. I’ll ship the finished product after it has cured.

We also have needle felting, watercolor painting, weaving and knitting experts in the community that would be happy to do a workshop for you and your friends (based on availability, of course)
